The Wireless Infrastructure Association has hired Kate Forscey as its new director of legislative affairs. Formerly, Forscey was a legislative aide to Rep. Anna Eshoo, D-Calif. Prior to working on the Hill, Forscey worked for Public Knowledge, a public-interest advocacy organization focused on users’ rights in the “emerging digital culture,” as associate counsel for government affairs. While at Public Knowledge Forscey focused on technology issues such as net neutrality, Federal Communications Act Title II reclassification, and proposed telecommunications mergers.
