This week, two members of the White House technology policy team, Grace Koh and Reed Cordish, announced that they are leaving their positions. The White House already selected replacements for both positions.

Koh and Cordish served in different departments at the White House, but both served for about a year before announcing their resignations.

Koh served as the White House special assistant to the president for technology, and Abigail Slater will replace her in this position, Politico reported. A White House spokesperson confirmed the departure.

Cordish served as an assistant for intragovernmental and technology initiatives at the Office of American Innovation (OAI). Brooke L. Rollins, the CEO of Texas Public Policy Foundation, will take his position after his departure.

In his work with OAI, Cordish focused on infrastructure and workplace initiatives. He stated in an interview with the Washington Post that he always intended to stay at the position for only a year, and that he will return to his family’s real estate business when he departs.

Koh has not announced her post-departure plans.
