If somebody embodies a can-do, refreshing attitude in government IT, that person is Darryl Peek, the digital innovation evangelist at DHS. Sadly for Uncle Sam and luckily for Salesforce, Peek is leaving government and signing on with Casey Coleman’s all-star team at the cloud leader. In a six-year drive at DHS, Peek has served as cyber strategist at NPPD FNR, carrying the water for CDM; ops director CTO office; and most recently, digital innovation director at OCIO/OCTO. Always looking for ways to bring government and industry together to spark innovative solutions, he has been an inspiration to all of us. Educated, entertaining, insightful, and innovative–Peek remains a force to be reckoned with in government IT. Peek performance–on and off the cricket pitch–thank you for your service Darryl.
