The MITRE Corporation is offering a Systems Engineering Fellowship which will allow participants to collaborate with MITRE employees, government staff, and contractors on next-generation systems. Fellows will be assigned a systems engineering project in one of MITRE’s technical centers or in its research program. They will also attend technical and leadership meetings. MITRE is working with the University of Virginia Accelerated Master’s Degree Program in Systems Engineering and the Darden Graduate School of Business to deliver the program, and participants can earn an accelerated master’s degree in systems engineering upon completion. Federal employees will have to meet the university’s accelerated master’s program requirements and have managerial approval. Classes will be in Charlottesville, Va., on Fridays and Saturdays, and the application deadline is April 1.
