5 Companies to Support NASA Specialized Software 

NASA granted five companies places on its $134 million indefinite-development, indefinite-quantity contract to support joint operations and integrated system technology. The awardees are Science Applications International, Booz Allen Hamilton, Cimarron Software Services, Tietronix Software, and Rothe Development. Under the contract, the companies will develop specialized software for the Johnson Space Center Flight Operations Directorate.

Boeing Gets E-3 Sentry Contract

The U.S. Air Force recently issued a $92.9 million sole-source contract to Boeing. Under the contract, the company will perform sustainment engineering services and technical support on E-3 Sentry surveillance aircraft. The E-3 Sentry surveillance aircraft are Airborne Warning and Control System planes, which offer communications, surveillance, and battle management functions. They are flown by NATO, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom.
