Matt Goodrich, director of the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), has announced the hiring of a new ‘agency evangelist.’

altGoodrich, who made the announcement during a webinar with Bloomberg Government Wednesday afternoon, said Ashley Mahan will provide much-needed help and expertise in the FedRAMP Program Management Office (PMO).

“She’s been supporting the team for a little bit doing some of our security authorizations, but also has a long history in terms of agency outreach and running cybersecurity policies and awareness training programs across the government for the last 10 years or so,” Goodrich said.

Mahan has supported the FedRAMP PMO as an Information Security Officer (ISSO) since 2014.

In a newsletter distributed during Goodrich’s appearance on the webinar, the FedRAMP PMO said Mahan “will be able utilize her technical expertise with FedRAMP and other Cyber initiatives and match that with her “Customer First” mentality to focus on how FedRAMP can…assist Agencies with adoption of FedRAMP.”
