The Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA’s) contracting branch – the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) – will reduce its enterprise acquisition services fee starting Oct. 1.
DITCO will decrease its telecommunications and IT service fee to 2.25 percent, a slight drop from the current fee of 2.5 percent, which the organization has maintained for the past five years.
“As a working capital fund organization, DITCO is required to charge its customers a fee to recover costs associated with their operating and capital budget activity,” DISA Defense Working Capital Fund Accounting Operations Chief Angela Rule said. “These costs include all labor, non-labor, general, and administrative overhead costs.”
Despite the changes to DITCO’s enterprise acquisition services fee, it will continue to offer its Enterprise License Agreements at its current 0.25 percent fee.
