The Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) announced Dec. 2 that Jonathan Pawlow will join the industry group as its senior director of government affairs. Pawlow most recently served as the legislative director and deputy chief of staff for Rep. Adam Smith, D-Calif. After serving 12 years on the Hill, ITI said that Pawlow will “focus on advocacy on public sector issues within the executive branch and U.S. Congress, including the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), supply chain, and acquisition reform legislation.” Jason Oxman, ITI’s president and CEO said, “As a seasoned congressional aide, Jon will help ensure our advocacy on issues ranging from supply chain management to acquisition reform to government modernization is informed by deep experience and sharp insight.”
