Tom Burke
IBM Federal Security
Mr. Burke has spent more than 25 years in the IT industry including senior management responsibilities in product management, sales and marketing. Tom is currently the Business Unit Executive with the IBM Federal Security Division. He is is responsible for managing sales and delivery of the IBM security software portfolio to the U.S. Federal government. Prior to his leadership position with IBM, Tom was the Vice President of Federal Sales for BigFix. In that role, he started the BigFix federal practice and built a sales team that increased the number of end points under BigFix management from 10,000 to over 3 million, including 90% of federal civilian agencies.
Mr. Burke holds a BS in Marketing and an MBA in Finance from Virginia Tech and is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Ireland.
