Saeed Akhter serves as the AWS Executive Security Advisor for the Public Sector organization. He is responsible for developing strategy to influence and measurably impact customers’ perception and experience around AWS’s security and compliance capabilities; and then deliver on that strategy.
Prior to AWS, Saeed has worked over 28 years at some of the fortune 100 technology companies, including Cisco Systems, as Global Technology & Business Leader for Cybersecurity, Enterprise Networking and Collaboration.
Saeed has served as Chief Security and Chief Technology Officer, Board Member and Advisor to Cloud and Cybersecurity Startups.
