Roger Gaffey, IBM’s Federal BISO, spent the early part of his career working for the U.S. Federal Government. After transitioning out of Government service he moved into supporting the Government across different companies. This includes working as an Auditor, Facility Security Officer, Information System Security Officer, and then Manager.
Roger has been active in the FedRAMP ecosystem since its inception. He has been instrumental in moving multiple products through the FedRAMP process to achieve accreditation both directly with Agencies and with the former JAB. As IBM’s Federal BISO, Roger has oversight over how IBM handles CMMC, FIPS, FedRAMP through establishing, policies, direction and providing guidance across IBM. His expertise, connections and technical acumen are strong differentiators to IBM’s success in the FedRAMP space.
