Dr. Peter Shore

Peter Shore, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and currently the Northwest Network (VISN 20) Director of Telehealth, Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Shore is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry at Oregon Health and Science University. From 2011-2013, Dr. Shore was Program Manager, Web Services, Mental Health Services, VA Central Office where he also served as the project lead for the Web-based self-help course “Parenting for Service Members & Veterans” (www.veteranparenting.org). In 2012, Dr. Shore was awarded the VHA Innovation Award to expand the Home-Based Telemental Health pilot, which he implemented at the Portland VA in December 2009. In July 2013, Dr. Shore was the recipient of the James Besyner Early Career Award by the Association of VA Psychologist Leaders. He has been an invited speaker at numerous national conferences, serves as a consultant and investigator on several telehealth grants, and is currently co-editor of a book series on Behavioral Telehealth for Springer Publications.
