Jim Piché

Jim Piché is FEDSIM’s Homeland Sector Director. He has overall responsibility for FEDSIM’s Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Professional Services Projects at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its component agencies. Most notably, he is responsible for the FEDSIM and DHS partnership for Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) as a means to acquire state-of-the-art cybersecurity tools and services for government networks. Mr. Piché’s Sector also provides acquisition, project, and financial management for DHS’ Secure Enterprise Network Systems, Services, & Support (SENS3), the Saint Elizabeths Technology Services (SETS), and the U.S. Border Patrol’s Acquisition, Program Management, and Technology Solutions (APMTS) projects. Mr. Piché has a career spanning over 20 years in major systems acquisitions and program management, and includes assignments at U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army PEO EIS, Department of State, U.S. Mint, NAVSEA, and SPAWAR. Prior to his assignment at FEDSIM, Mr. Piché was the Customer Service Director for Navy Enterprise Business Solutions (NAVEBS), providing customer advocacy, communication, education, and incident response to 64,000 Navy ERP (SAP) users across six Major System Commands. Mr. Piché holds a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
