Eric Motz has been in IT for over 18 years working for some of the top software companies worldwide. He spent over 9 years supporting federal civilian and intelligence agencies at Oracle and led the Oracle technical team supporting fraud and other uses within the US Department of Treasury. He was instrumental in bringing technology to bear to help evaluate abusive corporate tax shelters. He also assisted in modernizing fraud systems within the Internal Revenue Service. His expertise includes database, data warehousing, data mining, and data exploration. At Splunk, Eric continues to provide technical leadership to customers in the areas of fraud, cyber security, and operational intelligence.
