Terin Williams

Terin Williams serves as the Chief of Cyber Operations and a Senior Cyber Advisor at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) in Integrated Operations Division (IOD). A current member of the Army National Guard, she is the Vice Director of Operations (Cyber) for the National Guard Bureau. Terin has had multiple deployments and has multiple military awards to include a Bronze Star. She has been the director for the Cyber Shield exercise since 2023.

Previous to coming to CISA, Terin was the CIO of the Ohio National Guard. She holds a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College and a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University. Some certifications include (but not limited to): CISSP, CISM, GPEN, GCWN, GCIH, GCIA, GICSP, GPCS, C|EH, and ISA Cybersecurity Maintenance Specialist.
