Joe Moye

Joe Moye brings over 30 years of diverse experience as a leader in the technology arena and joins Virtustream after successfully driving the transformation of the enterprise business of a publicly traded software company. He also founded and built a highly successful analytics and data management business, which was acquired and integrated into a leading, global professional services company.
Joe heads up Virtustream’s public sector business, a new business unit that reinforces Virtustream’s commitment to providing the public sector with enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure capable of delivering the guaranteed performance and uptime needed to operate mission-critical workloads in the cloud. Prior to joining Virtustream, he was the President of the Enterprise Customer Business Unit at Blackbaud (BLKB) where he helped the business drive its transformation into a Cloud centric solution set while delivering a record performance in customer satisfaction and shareholder value.

Before joining Blackbaud, Joe was president and CEO for Capgemini Government Solutions, where he aggressively expanded the company in the U.S. public sector marketplace. Prior to Capgemini, Mr. Moye was the founder and CEO of Gazelle Consulting, Inc., a branded leader in analytics and data management professional services based in Atlanta, Ga. Gazelle was acquired by Adjoined Consulting in 2005 and Joe integrated his team and led the combined Business Intelligence practice and, ultimately Kanbay’s practice after its acquisition of Adjoined, prior to Capgemini acquiring Kanbay. Before founding Gazelle Consulting, Mr. Moye held multiple leadership positions with Sequent Computer Systems and Unisys where he was responsible for leading business units and channels both domestically and internationally.
