Microsoft announced July 29 that it acquired BlueTalon, a data privacy firm.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to a press release, BlueTalon “works with leading Fortune 100 companies to eliminate data security blind spots and gain visibility and control of data.” Microsoft said the acquisition will “enhance our ability to empower enterprises across industries to digitally transform while ensuring [the] right use of data with centralized data governance at scale through Azure.”
